The Dishwasher is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment in a timely and efficient manner. This role ensures the kitchen is well-stocked with clean dishes and maintains a safe and sanitary environment. The Dishwasher works closely with kitchen staff to support food preparation and service, ensuring a smooth workflow. Attention to detail, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and adherence to cleanliness and safety standards are essential for success in this role.

This role will be in-person located in our TCH location : Las Colinas

Key Responsibilities :

• Take food and beverage orders from players at their tables with accuracy and efficiency.
• Enter orders into the point-of-sale system and ensure timely preparation.
• Deliver food and beverages to players promptly and professionally, maintaining a clean and pleasant presentation.
• Refill beverages and address any special requests with a positive attitude.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about the menu and addressing any concerns promptly.
• Maintain a clean and organized dining area, ensuring proper table set-up and bussing after use.
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a smooth workflow and provide excellent teamwork.
• Follow all Texas Card House food safety and sanitation procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Shift Supervisor.

Qualifications :

Active Food Handler’s Certification (Required)

Active TABC Certification (Required)

Minimum 1 year of experience in a food service environment (Required).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and professional demeanor.

Strong ability to multi-task, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.

Ability to navigate a busy environment and carry multiple plates or trays safely.

Strong work ethic with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service.

Ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weight (food trays).

Availability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

Work Environment :

Casino gaming environment with noise, bright lights, and high-energy atmosphere.

Professional kitchen environment involving exposure to heat, fast-paced conditions, and strict food safety standards.

Shift availability :

Day shifts

Evening shifts

Night shifts

Weekends / Holidays as needed

Physical Requirements :

On-site, in-person role.

Mobility : Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, navigate through dining areas, and carry trays or food between the kitchen and guest tables.

Dexterity : Ability to handle and carry plates, trays, and beverages with precision, and assist guests with refills or special requests.

Vision : Ability to read order tickets, observe guests’ needs, and ensure accuracy in delivering orders.

Hearing : Ability to hear customer requests, communicate effectively with guests and team members, and listen for order details in a noisy environment.

Communication : Clear verbal communication with guests, kitchen staff, and fellow servers to ensure accurate and efficient service.

Endurance : Ability to maintain focus, energy, and efficiency during long shifts, including walking, standing, and multitasking.

Lifting : Ability to lift and carry trays or food items weighing up to 25 pounds.

Environment : Ability to work in a fast-paced, crowded, and often noisy dining environment with varying temperatures (e.g., hot kitchen areas and cooler dining spaces).

Job Details :

Job Type : Part-time / Full-time

Expected hours : 20 – 40 per week

Pay : $2.13 plus tips
