Environmental Services Manager

We are seeking a dedicated Environmental Services Operations Manager who will be responsible for daily monitoring and support of the Environmental Services team. This role includes supervising EVS Shift Supervisors, managing labor hours, and ensuring compliance with performance standards.

Responsibilities :

• Monitor monthly reports to ensure performance compliance.
• Conduct jobsite inspections and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Review jobsite monthly reports, evaluating performance against budget and quality of service metrics.
• Manage labor hours and ensure proper maintenance of vehicles and equipment to extend their life.
• Review all employee injury reports / accident investigations to maintain a safe work environment with a target of zero employee accidents.
• Promote best practices at Environmental Services sites to improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure the site fully utilizes EvPro software systems in daily assignments.
• Provide oversight, supervision, and hospital aseptic training in accordance with AHE standard procedures.
• Plan, prioritize, assign, supervise, review, and inspect the work of staff to meet government standards.
• Research, analyze, and define issues with adherence to established company policies and procedures.
• Implement site goals and objectives, establish schedules and methods for providing environmental services.
• Attend and present in leadership meetings.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

Schedule :

This role involves a balance of office work and walking throughout the hospital to ensure EVS team performance. Although primarily a first-shift position, occasional night, weekend, or holiday work may be required. This manager should be able to work 1-2 evenings per week.

Job Type & Location :

This is a permanent position based out of Rockville, MD.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $71,000.00 - $105,000.00 / yr. Health, vision, dental, 401k, PTO.

Workplace Type :

This is a fully onsite position in Rockville, MD.
