Our Diesel Mechanics Enjoy : Pay of $58,500 - $70,200 Annually (based on experience) Medical, dental, vision, 401K, long and short-term insurance, and life insurance Employee assistance program Paid holidays Paid vacation Furnished uniforms Excellent working environment Positive culture Diesel Mechanic Duties and Responsibilities : Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems Diagnose and repair issues with brakes, tires, transmission, steering, and other systems Perform preventative maintenance Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various repair tasks Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed Communicate with customers regarding vehicle issues and recommended services Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in the shop or field Other tasks as needed Requirements and Qualifications Valid driver's license (CDL strongly preferred) Must be able to read and speak English fluently Experience with Class 8 truck maintenance (at least 1 year preferred) Must possess personal set of basic hand tools Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively Must be able to meet the physical demands of the job Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
