Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated Fingernail policy : Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract # of Beds : 22 Nurse : Patient Ratios : 1 : 04 Common diagnoses / Types of patients : Heart failure, Afib, respiratory distress, stroke Are RNs required to titrate drips? : Yes Common titratable & / or set rate drips : Cardizem, amiodarone, nitro Is there a Charge Nurse on each shift? Does the charge nurse take an assignment? : Yes- does take a full patient assignment Are there nurse aids / patient care techs on this unit? Ratios? Duties? : Yes- 1 : 10 RT Equipment (Vents, Cpap, BiPap, High Flow, etc.) Are RNs required to do anything with these besides trouble shoot? : CPAP Are there Tele / Monitor Techs on this unit? Are RNs required to read their own strips? What brand are the tele monitors? : RNs must read and interpret strips Shifts & Scheduling (Do you allow self-scheduling? Block scheduling?) : 0630-1900, 1830-0700 / / cyclic scheduling Weekend Requirements : Everyother Holiday Requirements : 1 major, 1 minor Floating Requirements : Will float to ICU if appropriate and has experience How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 1- 12 hour shift in the department Additional Notes : Fast paced unit with many admits and discharges. Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity.
Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.

Certifications Required : BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
PRESCREEN AUTO OFFER
