Position

Gastroenterologist – full‑time faculty member at Nassau University Medical Center, a Level I Trauma Center and 530‑bed teaching hospital treating more than 80,000 emergency patients annually.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert care for disorders of the digestive system, including the gastrointestinal tract, pancreas, liver, bile ducts, and gallbladder.
  • Teach residents and medical students.
  • Participate in clinical research.

Qualifications

  • Expertise in disorders that affect the digestive system (esophagus, stomach, small intestine, large intestine, rectum and anus, pancreas, liver, bile ducts, gallbladder).
  • Enthusiasm for teaching residents and medical students.
  • Interest in participation in clinical research.

    • Compensation & Benefits

    Annual salary : $275,000.0. Benefits include medical, dental, life insurance, NYS Pension Plan, and other excellent benefits. No relocation assistance provided.
