We are looking to add Civil Engineer to support our Civil Engineering team in Canton, MI. The Civil Engineer will be responsible for a variety of design projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Create detailed engineering plans and technical drawings for civil projects using AutoCAD, with a focus on site layout, grading, and drainage systems.
• Plan and model stormwater retention and detention systems to manage runoff and meet local environmental and engineering standards.
• Design grading plans that optimize land use while ensuring soil stability, proper drainage, and regulatory compliance.
• Compile engineering documentation for permitting processes, including stormwater management, soils geotechnical investigations, erosion control, and site development approvals.
• Ensure that all project designs and documentation meet local, state, and federal environmental regulations and permitting requirements.
• Produce and manage design reports, budgets, calculations, and permitting correspondence to support project records and client needs.
• Client and regulatory agency correspondence.
