Program Budget Analyst Overview

Responsible for budgeting activities for an engineering development and manufacturing contract. Work with Kearfott Finance and Project Scheduler for schedule activities and determine earned value metrics. Responsible for contract planning, budgeting, and reporting of cost and schedule.

Essential Functions

• Collect / report actual contract costs to the customer.
• Perform Earned Value Management (EVM) duties including baseline planning, tracking performance, and identifying variances.
• Provide regular financial analyses and forecasts to ensure alignment with program goals.
• Develop and maintain Comprehensive Estimates at Completion (CEAC).
• Create Cost and Software Data Report (CSDR) in accordance with the CSDR plan provided by Prime Contractor.
• Creates Contract Work Breakdown Structure (CWBS) / CWBS dictionary, per the requirements of MIL-STD-881D and conform to the Customer-approved CSDR Plan for the contract and DD Form 2794.
• Work with Prime Contractor Cost Working Group Integrated Product Team (CWIPT) to ensure all reporting requirements can be met.

Requirements

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in New Jersey is $105,000 - $135,000 Annually. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, and internal consistency.
