As a Clinical Nurse III, you will play an essential role in fostering a compassionate and supportive environment for our patients, their families, and your colleagues through active kindness and attentive listening. Your contributions will be invaluable to our mission and the success of our team.
Your primary responsibilities will include :
- Implementing physician orders, administering medications, starting IVs, performing treatments, procedures, and tests, and documenting all care as per regulatory policies.
- Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating diagnostic tests to accurately assess and address patients' conditions.
- Conducting thorough patient assessments to evaluate needs and responses to care provided.
- Utilizing sound nursing judgment in all patient care management decisions.
- Providing primary and emergency care for both occupational and non-occupational health issues.
- Administering medications as prescribed and necessary.
- Collaborating with the nursing team to establish a comprehensive Plan of Care for each patient.
- Supervising and guiding ancillary personnel while maintaining professional nursing standards.
Qualifications :
Graduate of an accredited professional nursing program (diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate degree).Current NYS Registered Nurse license.Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is required.A minimum of 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care.Strong communication, prioritization, organizational, and time-management skills.Knowledge of quality improvement concepts, principles, and problem-solving techniques.Thank you for considering a career at Albany Medical Center!
