Administrative Assistant

Hours : 1 : 30 pm -9 : 00 pm (30-40 hrs / week, 4 days a week to include 1 day on the weekend)

Salary range : $20-$24

Location : Walnut Creek, CA

We are seeking an energetic, engaging, and personable Live Host to present our products on popular social media platform! The Live Host will run live-streamed shows, showcase products, interact with audiences in real time, and drive sales through authentic and entertaining engagement. This role blends merchandising, marketing, promotion, and customer service in a fast-paced, interactive e-commerce environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Host Live Shows : Run scheduled live sales streams presenting products with enthusiasm and clarity.
  • Engage Viewers : Build rapport with the live audience, respond to comments / questions, and create an interactive and fun shopping experience.
  • Showcase Products : Highlight features, benefits, and details of each product in a compelling, accurate, and trustworthy way.
  • Sales & Conversion : Drive purchases by promoting items effectively and encouraging participation.
  • Brand Representation : Promote and market the brand during live streams, ensuring a professional, authentic, friendly, and approachable presence.
  • Content Preparation : Collaborate with the team to prepare product lists, schedules, and marketing strategies prior to each show.
  • Customer Interaction : Address audience inquiries during and after shows, maintaining excellent customer service.
  • Analytics & Feedback : Track performance, provide insights on show results, and recommend improvements for future streams.

Qualifications

  • On-camera presence : Hands only with the ability to engage and entertain live audiences.
  • Knowledge of live-stream shopping platforms a plus.
  • Verbal communication skills : Excellent and a personable, energetic style.
  • Ability to multitask : In a fast-paced, interactive environment.
  • Comfortable handling : Basic tech setup (camera, lighting, streaming software).
  • A genuine passion for the products being sold (e.g., collectibles, fashion, jewelry, or other niche categories).
  • Reliability : Punctual and able to commit to a consistent streaming schedule.
