The Chief Data & Analytics Office (CDAO) at JPMorgan Chase is responsible for accelerating the firms data and analytics journey. This includes ensuring the quality integrity and security of the companys data as well as leveraging this data to generate insights and drive decision-making. The CDAO is also responsible for developing and implementing solutionsthat support the firms commercial goals by harnessing artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies to develop new products improve productivity and enhance risk management effectively and responsibly.

As a Principal Technical Program / Release Manager at JPMorgan Chase in Chief Data Analytics - Fusion Team you will lead complex multi-functional technology projects and programs that will impact experiences for multiple groups across the firm including clients employees and stakeholders. The Release Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and overseeing the deployment of software releases across environments. This role ensures releases are delivered on time with minimal disruption and in alignment with business and technical requirements.

Job responsibilities

• Develops and manages release schedules timelines and milestones in coordination with development QA and operations teams.
• Oversees the end-to-end release process including planning build deployment and post-release validation.
• Coordinates release activities across multiple teams and environments ensuring clear communication and alignment.
• Identifies manages and mitigates risks associated with releases.
• Maintains release documentation including release notes deployment plans and rollback procedures.
• Ensures compliance with change management and governance policies.
• Monitors and report on release status issues and metrics to stakeholders.
• Drives continuous improvement in release processes tools and automation.
• Facilitates release readiness reviews and post-release retrospectives.
• Supports incident management and troubleshooting for release-related issues.
