Key Responsibilities :
Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students speech and language needs and determine eligibility for special education servicesDevelop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teamsProvide individual and group therapy targeting IEP goalsCollaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to enhance communication support strategies within the school environmentParticipate in district initiatives that promote positive school climate, cultural responsiveness, and social justiceTrain and support school staff on effective speech and language strategiesQualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institutionValid Texas state licensure as an SLPCertification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)Familiarity with current speech-language pathology best practices and researchExperience working with diverse student populations and demonstrated cultural competenceStrong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skillsThis position offers the opportunity to grow professionally while supporting a dynamic student body.
