PET / CT Technologist

Our PET / CT technologists use exceptional communication skills to connect with patients, explain the procedure, and put them at ease. With a caring attitude and keen attention to detail, they ensure patient comfort, safety, and satisfaction every step of the way. They demonstrate technical competence by effectively interpreting physician orders and selecting appropriate software options and imaging parameters to produce high-quality PET / CT images, enabling physicians to diagnose accurately and treat confidently. Their flexibility allows them to work in various environmentsoutpatient centers, mobile units, or hospital-based facilitiesdelivering top imaging care at any access point.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to :

• Responsible for patient safety, including pre-screening for contraindications, aseptic injection techniques, and radiation safety and documentation when working with radioactive materials.
• Producing high-quality diagnostic images.
• Effective communication with patients and radiologists.
• Training new technologists and / or support staff.
• Troubleshooting scanner, coach, and peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.).
