Application Engineer

The Senior Application Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-scale applications across both on-prem and cloud environments. This role combines deep technical expertise in Java, API development, cloud engineering, and modern DevOps practices with strong collaboration and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate excels in building scalable solutions, driving platform modernization efforts, and supporting cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. This position is suited for a proactive, detail-oriented engineer who thrives on innovation, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality application solutions that support business growth.

Position Summary :

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise Java (J2EE) and web applications across on-prem and cloud environments.
• Build scalable, secure applications and support testing, deployment, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams to define technical requirements and deliverables.
• Review code, enforce best practices, and support cross-functional, distributed teams.
• Maintain and enhance CRM API and MDM platforms and assist with migrations to cloud architectures.
• Support and develop SOAP / REST APIs and data integrations across systems.
• Maintain CI / CD pipelines and help transition to cloud-based automation tools.
• Troubleshoot issues, review logs, and perform root cause analysis.
