Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer, where you will help to deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine armed patrols, maintaining a highly visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service to everyone on site. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $24.00 / Hour

Job Schedule : Day

Fri 08 : 00 AM - 04 : 00 PM

Sat 02 : 30 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 10 : 30 PM - 06 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, taking appropriate action based on circumstances.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols inside the manufacturing and industrial location as well as the perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and support a secure environment.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and key areas within the facility to help to deter suspicious activity and maintain awareness of surroundings.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal policies and client requirements.
  • Work collaboratively with other team members, facility staff, and public agencies when necessary to support a secure environment.
  • Maintain a professional presence while carrying assigned arms, adhering to all legal and company guidelines regarding armed posts.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • At least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • An armed guard card or license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control or badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
