Job Overview

As a Merchandising Colleague, also known as a Front of House Colleague, you'll play a vital role in keeping our store running smoothly and efficiently. You will aid in merchandise movement and placement, enhance the visual presentation of merchandise, arrange and maintain product displays, ensure pricing and signage is up-to-date and deliver genuine hospitality to both our customers and colleagues. Your dedication to teamwork will shine as you collaborate with colleagues to achieve department goals and foster a positive workplace. Most importantly, you'll make every customer feel welcome by greeting them with a smile and offering your help whenever needed.

Product Knowledge : Good understanding of the products in the store and be able to give expert guidance to customers based on their wants, features, and choices

Customer Service : Create connection with customers, help the store achieve sales goals, and participate in sales-boosting events

Technology : Effectively use point-of-sale technology and digital tools to streamline transactions and enhance the shopping experience

Continuous Learning : Self-driven to keep up with product knowledge and trends and stay current with all training through Macy's educational resources to provide the best possible service

Interpersonal Skills : Create a welcoming, friendly environment for customers and colleagues, fostering meaningful conversations and connections
