Nurse Educator Full Time

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Nurse Educator to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in enhancing the skills and knowledge of nursing staff through effective education and training programs. This position requires expertise in medical terminology, patient care, and a solid understanding of both pediatrics and adult education. The Nurse Educator will work closely with clinical staff in a hospital or teaching hospital environment to ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations while fostering a culture of continuous learning. Duties Develop and implement educational programs for nursing staff and home caregiver staff and facilities that focus on best practices in patient care. help to maintain, sustain and grow our home care and home health care training Conduct training sessions on medical records management, medical terminology, and compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to assess the educational needs of staff, particularly in home care settings. Evaluate the effectiveness of educational programs through assessments and feedback from participants. Provide mentorship and support to new nurses and caregiver staff as they transition into their roles within. Stay current with advancements in nursing practices and integrate new information into training materials. Facilitate workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses for nursing staff and caregiveing staff. Responsible for support training and training, creating new training modules for home caregivers, and program staff as needed and potential health care facilities. Requirements Registered Nurse (RN) license with a strong background in home health practice. Experience in adult education or teaching within a healthcare setting is preferred. Previous experience working in home care is a plus. Strong communication skills with the ability to educate diverse groups effectively. Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
