Intern CCQS Safety
Location : Atlanta, GA
Duration : June 1st, 2026 to July 31st, 2026
Role Overview : As an intern in the CCQS department, you will assist with various tasks and projects. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain practical experience and develop skills in multiple aspects of Aviation Safety including but not limited to : SMS, Safety Leadership & Culture, Risk Management, Certification, Compliance and Analytics. Our growing Safety practice operates in all areas of Aviation safety from Ground Operations, Maintenance / MRO through Flight Operations and InFlight Service.
Key Responsibilities :
Assist members of the Oliver Wyman Vector 'Certification, Compliance, Quality & Safety' (CCQS) Team on client project work, internal business development and marketing activities, research and analytical activities. Precise activities will be determined based on internal and client needs at the time of the internship period but would be expected to include :
- Client project support, (as appropriate) - joining an OWV team on a client engagement
- Client workshop design - developing interactive workshop agendas and activities to support existing / new product offerings
- Client / internal workshop facilitation and execution to include training and learning events
- Client engagement surveys / assessments - developing survey tools for a new offering or administrating existing surveys
- Continuous Improvement opportunities iterating existing approaches and products based on internal and client feedback
- Industry research and analysis - supporting new / extended client safety offerings
- Marketing support generating case studies, product materials, and pitch decks, building website content or contributing to articles / white papers
- Writing position papers / abstracts developing thought pieces for submission for conferences and industry events, synthesizing existing offerings and industry perspectives
- Consolidating internal content - analyzing and synthesizing critical client / product data into one place for future reference,
- Building Market Intelligence (MI) content supporting our internal MI team compiling industry data for internal client projects and external industry reports
- Shadowing Industry Records team learning from our internal teams who support airlines in managing their regulatory record keeping
Requirements :
A passion for Safety in AviationCurrently enrolled in an Aviation degree program in a technical or safety discipline.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and productivity tools such as SmartSheet.Nice-to-Have Skills :
Safety courses and / or certifications completedExperience performing safety work in (any) industryBenefits :
