Senior DevOps Engineer

This is a remote position.

Were seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead infrastructure deployment for a HIPAA-compliant system integrating with major pharmacy management software.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement HIPAA-compliant infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform
• Deploy and manage MLLP adapters for HL7 v2 message processing
• Configure Google Cloud Healthcare API for secure data handling
• Establish VPC Service Controls and CMEK encryption
• Set up secure VPN connections with pharmacy systems
• Implement monitoring logging and audit trails for PHI data
• Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for production workloads
• Create CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager)

Key Responsibilities : Design and implement HIPAA-compliant infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform; Deploy and manage MLLP adapters for HL7 v2 message processing; Configure Google Cloud Healthcare API for secure data handling; Establish VPC Service Controls and CMEK encryption; Set up secure VPN connections with pharmacy systems; Implement monitoring logging and audit trails for PHI data; Manage Kubernetes (GKE) clusters for production workloads; Create CI / CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Deployment Manager) Required Technical Skills : 5 years DevOps experience with cloud platforms; Google Cloud Platform expertise (certification preferred); Strong knowledge of : Kubernetes / Docker containerization; VPN and network security configuration; IAM and service account management; Pub / Sub messaging systems; Cloud Run and serverless architectures; Experience with healthcare compliance (HIPAA BAA) is highly valued; Scripting skills (Python Bash); Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform Ansible) Preferred Qualifications : Experience with HL7 v2 protocol or healthcare integrations; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification; Knowledge of MLLP (Minimal Lower Layer Protocol); Experience with Cloud SQL BigQuery; Understanding of medical data privacy regulations
