Compensation: $16.60hr starting (union contract)

Position Summary

Perform operational duties to provide safe and nutritious food to patients and customers of Saint Anthony Hospital cafeteria, Physicians' Dining, and catering events.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, assembles, delivers and/or serves meals and nourishments for patients, cafeteria, Physicians' Dining room, and catering events. Sets up catering events following established departmental catering standards.
• Performs tray line tasks with an above average degree of accuracy.
• Receives all deliveries and assures accurate quantity and quality of products. Ensures and performs proper storage of merchandise.
• Performs cashier duties in the cafeteria and Physicians' Dining Room.
• Execute proper cleaning and sanitation of dishware, pots and pans. Ensures proper sanitation of Foodservice facilities.
• Delivers tube feeding and floor stock to patient care areas.
• Completes quality control records/logs as appropriate and reports deviations to supervisor.

Work Experience:

1 to 3 years of housekeeping experience.

Position Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow oral and written instructions
• Able to work harmoniously with peers, supervisors, and other departments, visitors and patients
• Previous experience in dietary or food services preferred
• Ability to read and write English
