McGuireWoods LLP has an opening for a Practice Assistant (Legal Secretary) Senior Manager. This senior level position provides management, supervision, and direction to a team of Practice Assistant Supervisors as well as the Practice Assistants (PAs) for three office locations. The position is based in Richmond, Virginia with support and regular travel to the Charlottesville, VA and Norfolk, VA offices. This position ensures the Practice Assistant staff provides the highest level of administrative support and client service to the firm’s attorneys and clients. The senior manager is responsible for performance management, ensuring assigned staff maintains appropriate skill levels to perform their job responsibilities and provides guidance and coaching to direct reports while fostering a team environment.
