What we offer

The Johnson Controls’Accelerated Commercial Excellence (ACE) Program is anearly career18-month sales development programdesigned to transform recent graduates intoskilled salesindividuals.Over the course of the program, participants receive intensive training, hands-on experience and mentorship to build technical expertise and sales acumen, preparing them for impactfulsalesroles within our organization.For the firstsixmonthsof the program, you willbe located inMilwaukee, WI.(Northwest suburb ofGlendaleWI.)During theremaining part of theprogram, you will be required to relocatenear YorkPAorWaynesboro PA(commuting distance fromkeyofficehubs)as yourpermanent role / assignmentlocation.You will report to the ACE Program Manager during the first 4-5 months then transition to a specificHVACSalesManager.Thisroleis designed to help top talent developsales fundamentals, insidesalessupportskills,customer relationship buildingandproductexpertiseforJohnson Controls’cutting edgeandhighly visibleHVACdivision. Under general supervision, you willsupportHVACproduct portfolio (Applied, Largo or Industrial Refrigeration)with commercialand salesoperations, andvariousinside sales responsibilities.This position will help you gainvaluablesalesexperience whileproviding aid toour customers and field sales team.
Howwill youdo it
Provide technical, commercial, andproductsupport toHVACfield sales personnel andcustomers
Support Regional Sales Managers (RSM)and indirect distributoraccountswith product training,productselection, pricing,purchase orders, etc.
Provide leadmanagementassistancefromwebsite inquiries,webinarattendees,roadshows,etc.to generate new business opportunities and promote new product introductions
Enable cross-collaborationbetween customer accounts andwarranty,techsupportorfinancingspecialistsas needed
Attendaccount planning cadencesandcontribute to teamgoal attainment with RSMs
AssistRSMswith opportunity pipeline management and account information updates in CRM tool
Promote customer usage for our online orderingtool(Solution Navigator) andguidecustomersthroughthe platformandproductportfolio
Prepare and lead internal product presentations (SME) to develop presentation and general soft skills and prepare for customer-facing situations
Attendfrequenttraining sessions todevelopHVACproductknowledge(Chillers, AHUs, Industrial Refrigeration), salestacticsand fundamentalsandbuild confidence.
Travel tocustomer locationsand visit key contacts forsalessupport andshadowing(approximatelyonceor twiceperquarter)
What we look for
Required :
Bachelor’s degree minimum (Mechanical, Chemicalor ElectricalEngineering Degree highly preferred)
Recent graduate or undergraduate senior expecting to graduate between Apr2026–Jun2026. Program starts inJun2026
Proficiencywith Microsoft 365programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
Must have the ability to be in Milwaukee, WI (Glendale WI) for the firstsixmonthsof the program, then relocate toeitherYork PAorWaynesboro PAareas(nearourspecificHVAC manufacturingand corporate locations)totransitionto anestablishedbase.
U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
Preferred :
Technical internship experience is highly preferred
Excellent communication skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Available to travel up to 20% – dependent upon your assignments
