This role will be based in one of our offices :

• New York City (47th & 3rd)
• Chicago, IL

We offer a hybrid work schedule with 4 days in the office; and 1 day remote where it makes sense to do so.

Responsibilities

As an Excess & Surplus Underwriter, you'll join a small yet dynamic and rapidly growing team. This is a unique opportunity for an entrepreneurial professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to play a foundational role in building a best-in-class E&S underwriting practice. As an early member of our E&S team, you will be responsible for driving new business production, managing broker relationships, and underwriting complex risks with a focus on large accounts. Your expertise and sound judgment will be critical in selecting profitable risks, collaborating with risk management to enhance exposures, and leveraging advanced technology to monitor and manage your portfolio. The company offers a competitive compensation plan and robust benefits package for full time regular employees including : Base Salary Range : $80,000 - $120,000 Eligible to participate in annual discretionary bonus.
