ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) preferred. Experience working with school-aged children, particularly in elementary education settings. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Location : Metairie, LA (serving the New Orleans area). Schedule : 35 hours per week (7 hours per day) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Contract Duration : Beginning ASAP through May 22, 2026. Caseload : To be determined.

A K-12 educational institution in Metairie, LA, is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students throughout the current school year on a contract basis. This role primarily involves working onsite in elementary schools located on the west bank, providing essential speech and language services to enhance student communication skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for K-12 students.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support students' communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in meetings and provide progress reports to ensure continuity of care.
