The Registered Nurse (RN) is a registered professional nurse who prescribes, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members following the nursing process and the standards of care and practices.

• Document patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
• Document and reassess any significant changes in patient condition in compliance with facility policy.
• Verify the accuracy of patient records.
• Intervention is based on knowledge of psychiatric and medical nursing procedures and the plan of care.
• Provide education to patients and families based on their identified needs and limitations, such as communication, interpersonal, and social skills, as well as basic principles of physical health.
• Document the nursing interventions on the treatment plan and the patient's response to the intervention.
• Utilize appropriate interventions in psychiatric and medical emergencies.
• Act as the patient's advocate and assure that patient rights are upheld.

Your Experience Matters What we're looking for

• Education: Graduate from an accredited professional nursing program is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
• Experience: At least three (3) years of experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility is preferred.
• Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Georgia State Board of Nursing.

Compensation:

This is a full-time, non-exempt role, and the expected compensation range is between $31.50 and $40.00/hour, plus a $6,000.00 sign-on bonus. We're eager to engage with all qualified candidates, and consideration will be given to experience and skill level. Join us as our Registered Nurse (RN)!
