Responsibilities :

  • Breakout : The operator must read technical schematics and strip the cable to the required length.
  • Prep : The operator must strip the end of the breakout, apply numbered labels, and rubber boots.
  • Cleaving : The operator must cleave the very tip of the fiber using a specialized scope.
  • Polishing : The operator must follow a preset polishing recipe, use proper sanding pads, and ensure no dirt or spots are visible.
  • Testing : The operator is required to test all connectors and ensure they meet testing requirements.

Willing to train!

Required Experience :

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to showcase a positive attitude.
  • Willing to learn and be part of a team environment.

    • Preferred Experience :

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write and understand English.
  • Familiarity with fiber optics systems and components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical schematics.
  • Proficiency in connecting, maintaining, and troubleshooting fiber optics systems.
  • Knowledge of optical fiber testing and measuring equipment.
