Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk Job Description

SUMMARY : We are seeking an Accounts Payable Data Entry Clerk to join our growing team at our Athens, GA headquarters. This position offers the ability to perform some work remotely, with a hybrid work schedule. This is an ideal position for an entry level candidate with excellent customer relations and communication skills. Growth opportunities available.

Essential Responsibilities

• Receive vendor invoices, match with the corresponding purchase orders and packing slips, and enter them in a timely manner
• Enter subcontract pay apps, verifying all required documentation is received
• Reconcile vendor statements, credit card statements, and other accounts
• Respond to inquiries from vendors
• Ensure sales or use tax is properly coded on all invoices
• Enter miscellaneous payments for accounting staff
• Other similar duties as directed
