• Position Summary The Commercial Driver is responsible for safely operating commercial vehicles to deliver automotive parts to customer locations.
• This role supports efficient logistics operations by performing timely deliveries, loading / unloading duties, and adhering to company and DOT regulations.
• Key Responsibilities Operate company vehicles in a safe and professional manner, adhering to DOT regulations and company safety standards.
• Deliver automotive parts and accessories to customer locations accurately and on time.
• Load and unload products, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and customers regarding deliveries, delays, or issues.
• Complete all required paperwork, including delivery logs, inspection reports, and route sheets.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned vehicle.
• Represent the company positively during all customer interactions.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and PPE requirements.
• Assist with warehouse or other duties as assigned when not on delivery routes.
• Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Valid CDL, Class A driver’s license.
• Clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card (Driven Distribution Group will cover associated costs).
• Reliable transportation to the Arlington warehouse.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally lift over 100 lbs.
• Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in commercial or route delivery driving.

• It requires frequent standing, walking, bending, climbing, and lifting.
• Employees must regularly use their hands and arms to handle materials, reach, and communicate effectively.
• The role involves lifting and moving up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally more than 100 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities are essential, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, as well as depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements To ensure safety and compliance, employees in this role are required to always wear steel-toe or composite safety shoes .
• Additional Requirements Candidates must meet employment eligibility requirements as established by U.S. federal law.
