About the Role

We are seeking an innovative Associate Dean of Information Technology and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our IT organization with visionary insight. This critical position will play a pivotal role in fostering innovation and implementing strategic transformation within the institution’s technology landscape.

The ideal candidate will :

  • Establish a clear vision and strategic direction for all technology services that aligns with our institution's mission.
  • Drive continuous organizational change and improve IT operations for enhanced efficiency.
  • Effectively manage IT and educational technology staff to ensure optimal productivity and engagement.
  • Oversee budget development, leading both short and long-term planning for academic and enterprise technology projects.
  • Maintain and enhance a secure, efficient, and forward-thinking technology environment that supports our academic goals.

This role will encompass the management of computer technology services, academic technology, enterprise applications, information security, and strategic planning for technology initiatives.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Master's degree preferred).
  • A minimum of 7 years of progressive supervisory and management experience in IT.
  • Proven leadership in modernizing IT environments to meet current and future needs.
  • Experience with enterprise systems, cloud administration, and network security practices.
  • Preferred experience in technology leadership within higher education, specifically in a law school setting.
  • A strong track record in leading organizational change and strategic technology planning.
  • Deep technical expertise in infrastructure, cloud computing, and cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships across the institution.
  • Financial acumen with experience in technology budgeting and procurement processes.
