Join a nationally ranked academic medical center known for innovation and excellence in diagnostic science. We're looking for two Full-Time Medical Technologists to join our collaborative Microbiology / Virology Lab team at a leading hospital in Gainesville, FL.

Location : On-site in Gainesville, FL

Schedule : Variable shifts available (including evening / night options)

Compensation : Competitive pay + Sign-On Bonus (based on experience)

What You'll Do :

  • Perform routine and complex diagnostic testing in microbiology and virology, including culture, molecular, and serologic assays
  • Accession specimens, operate analyzers, and ensure specimen integrity
  • Collaborate with technologists, pathologists, and infectious disease teams to deliver timely, accurate results
  • Support quality assurance, instrument maintenance, and lab compliance
  • Contribute to a lab known for precision, innovation, and patient-centered care

    • Job Requirements

    What You'll Need :

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related science field
  • Active or temporary Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • MT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP)
  • Experience in a hospital microbiology or virology lab a plus
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and adaptability in a fast-paced lab environment
