[job_card.job_description]Valid New York State RN License Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills Proficiency with an EMR (preferred) Minimum of two years experience in an outpatient medical office setting Healthcare or Customer Service Experience Patient Navigation Certification (preferred) Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids Reliable transportation to travel to NYI locations for patient care needs New York Imaging is an Equal Opportunity Employer.

In this role, you will :
- Work with the interdisciplinary team in radiation oncology to execute a customized plan of care for each unique patient.
- Guide the patient through the treatment process, provide patient education, and assist in scheduling appointments as needed.
- Facilitate interaction between patients and their physician and referring physician(s) as appropriate.
- Navigate patients eligible for lung cancer screenings, including patient outreach, determining eligibility, scheduling screenings, and reviewing results.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary lung program team to analyze patient findings, and navigate patient care based on recommendations.
- Utilize effective communication to ensure patient and caregiver(s) have appropriate information, understand, and have the capacity and tools to adhere to the individualized treatment plan.
- Contribute to quality-driven performance improvement initiatives.

Salary : Starting at $54 per hour based on experience
