TITLE : Account Manager

CLIENT : Insurance Agency

LOCATION : Pearland, TX

TYPE : Direct-hire | On-site (No Remote or Hybrid)

SALARY : $30,000 - $40,000 DOE + commission

SUMMARY :

Our client, a leading insurance agency, is seeking a highly motivated Account Manager to join their team. In this role you will be supporting the sales goals of the agency to meet long-term and short-term goals for agency growth. This includes new business, cross-sell, add-on selling and upselling opportunities, customer service retention, and profit goals. As well as managing key client relationships.

RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Cross-sell, add-on sell and upsell all products at every opportunity through pivoting.
  • Aid in preparing annual review appointments for the account executives.
  • Continually follow up and set new prospect appointments.
  • Utilize the agency software on a continual basis to update policy and database information.
  • Coordinates thank you / welcome letters for new households on a continual basis.
  • Review cancellation and renewal lists on a weekly basis to ensure high level of retention and profitability. Make calls and send letters when appropriate on cancellations and renewal changes.
  • Set up and maintain files on all new business accounts.
  • Always ask for referrals and thank customers for their business.
  • Share responsibilities of answering the phone.
  • Manage dashboard activities such as my alerts, marketing postcards / letters, and ACAR telephone follow-up.

REQUIREMENTS :

  • 3+ years of insurance agency experience.
  • Property & Casualty License REQUIRED.
  • Life Insurance Licensed : Preferred.
  • Proven experience in insurance sales, with a strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
  • Demonstrated expertise in account management, including relationship building and client retention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a focus on achieving win-win outcomes for both the company and clients.
  • A team player who likes to win, collaborates and values culture.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft.
  • Ability to be On-Site, Monday through Friday.
