What Your Job Will Be Like:
We are seeking a Intern Year Round - R&D Undergrad
On any given day, you may be called on to:
- Work collaboratively with other students and senior engineers
- Contribute to the development of hydrodynamic models.
- Contribute to the development of marine energy models reports and documentation to present work
- Generate reports and documentation to present work.
Qualifications We Require:
You bring the confidence and skills to be eligible for the job by meeting these minimum requirements:
- Currently attending and enrolled full time in an accredited undergraduate program
- Pursuing a science, engineering, or math major
- Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0
- Ability to work up to 25 hours per week during the academic year, and up to 40 hours per week during the summer
- U.S. citizenship
Qualifications We Desire:
- Proficiency in programming languages like MATLAB, Simulink and/or Python
- Familiarity with developing software in a collaborative manner (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with hydrodynamic modeling techniques
- Demonstrated ability to produce clear and succinct documentation of technical work for technical and non-technical audiences (e.g., publications and presentations)
