[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and tenants by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies at the retail or mall location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with emergency response activities when appropriate. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and promote a secure environment for all occupants. Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel. Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential issues and provide assistance as needed. Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. Collaborate with local law enforcement or emergency services as requested and / or required by site procedures. Follow all instructions and guidelines provided by Allied Universal and the client to support a secure and welcoming environment. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Primarily driving post is preferred. A guard card or license is preferred. The ability to operate a Segway or T3 is preferred. The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
