Description - Your Role and Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and specialized clinical laboratory analyses-covering chemistry, hematology, immunology, and more-adhering strictly to established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, resolve discrepancies, and undertake preventive care and calibration of laboratory instruments.
• Assist with patient sample collection and prepare specimens for accurate testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, train new team members or students, and maintain high laboratory quality standards.
• Ensure a tidy and secure workspace while complying with all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree, with plans to achieve ASCP/AMT certification.

Certification Requirements

• Obtain ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) within one year of your start date.
• Maintain valid certification throughout your employment.
