The purpose of this job is to provide support for distribution operations as well as initiating continuous improvement within the merchandising department.

  • Support the Distribution team with project reports and initiatives
  • Support the Merchandising & Deli teams with product rollouts and initiatives
  • Provide ticket telephone and email support to troubleshoot store level questions and issues related to the distributor
  • Work with distributor to execute product flow in support of merchandising and deli initiatives; implement solutions and action plans to achieve optimum results
  • Utilize data and reporting systems to research identify and create action plans for supply chain solutions
  • Model behaviors that support our purpose driven strategy showing people they matter at every turn
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules regulations policies and procedures
  • Complete other duties as assigned

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent certification required
  • Associate or bachelors degree with a concentration in retail or business preferred
  • Minimum one year retail store merchandising or restaurant experience preferred
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines with attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and with a diverse work team
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and situational analysis skills to troubleshoot and resolve issues
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to prioritize based upon immediate or long-term needs of the category
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and listening skills
  • Travel required less than 5%
  • General office work requiring sitting or standing for long periods of time
