Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is needed onsite at an elementary school in Kershaw, SC, to provide support during a MAT leave. This contract position involves working with a caseload of approximately 25 students in grades K-5 within a resource class setting. The workweek consists of 37.5 hours, offering the opportunity to make a significant impact in the educational experience of young learners requiring specialized support.

Key Responsibilities :

• Deliver individualized instruction and support aligned with students' IEPs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, parents, and support staff to optimize student outes
• Prepare and implement lesson plans tailored to the needs of students with a range of learning disabilities and challenges
• Monitor and document student progress, adjust strategies as necessary
