Position summary : Manages community, environmental, and transportation analysis and planning services, including development of community, regional, transportation, and natural resource plans and master plans of a wide variety. Manages, directs, and oversees work of Planners, Economic modeling, Architects, Civil Engineers, Environmental Scientists, and other Subject Matter Experts that may be required for the project envisioned.

Essential functions and responsibilities include overseeing and managing the preparation of planning documents, developing and implementing planning processes, managing research and data collection efforts, managing data management protocols, developing and managing planning schedules, managing public involvement strategies and materials, leading the preparation of scopes of work, fee proposals, and responses to RFP's, monitoring schedules, budgets and manpower requirements, hiring, training, developing, mentoring, and conducting performance reviews for staff, and leading preparation of scopes of work, fee proposals, engaging with and coordinating investment partners to fulfill the scope of the project through completion. Participates in and assists Section Heads with strategic planning and Business Development efforts, including leading initiatives.

Nonessential functions and responsibilities include producing graphic representations, supporting and / or participating in field investigations and site reconnaissance efforts, supporting and contributing to permitting processes, field delineation reports, environmental inspection reports, and similar reports, and performing other related duties as assigned.
