About The Position

Pay Rate : $65.00 - $70.00 / Hourly.

Shift : Day 5x8 -Hour (7 : 00 - 19 : 00) / Day 4x10 -Hour (7 : 00 - 19 : 00)

Summary : The Electrophysiology (EP) Technician provides specialized support in cardiac electrophysiology procedures, assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders. The EP Technician ensures the proper functioning of diagnostic and therapeutic equipment, monitors patient vital signs, and maintains a safe and sterile environment in the EP lab.

Responsibilities :

• Assist cardiologists during electrophysiology procedures, including ablations, pacemaker / ICD implantations, and other cardiac rhythm interventions.
• Prepare, calibrate, and operate EP lab equipment, including intracardiac electrogram recording systems, mapping systems, and ablation tools.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and responses to procedures.
• Maintain sterile field and assist in infection control practices during procedures.
• Troubleshoot technical issues with EP lab equipment and coordinate repairs or maintenance as needed.
• Educate patients about procedures, post-procedure care, and device follow-up.
• Maintain accurate procedure documentation, logs, and reports according to regulatory standards.
