This is a non-tenure track, 9-month faculty position. Primary duties will include teaching or co-teaching didactic and laboratory courses in: hematology/hemostasis, immunohematology, genetics/molecular diagnostics, microbiology, immunology, urinalysis/body fluids, and/or laboratory operations across the curriculum; updating course materials consistent with program accreditation requirements and advances in the field; participating in curriculum development, program assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives; continuing education needed to maintain professional certification or licensure; and assisting the CLS Director. Duties also include advising and supporting students regarding academic, career, and professional development; engaging in department, college, and university committees and assigned service activities; serving as a liaison with clinical partners; and contributing to professional and community outreach as appropriate.
