Texas Licensed Behavioral Medical Director

A company is looking for a Behavioral Medical Director, Population Health.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the Utilization Management Program and perform peer reviews

Ensure delivery of cost-effective quality care with a focus on recovery and person-centered services

Provide clinical oversight and manage services across all levels of care in the benefit plan

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy

Current unrestricted medical license in Texas or willingness to obtain

Board certified in Psychiatry

Understanding of engagement, empowerment, rehabilitation, and recovery principles

Knowledge of post-acute care planning and management
