Full Stack developer

As an Fullstack Software Engineer you are an experienced front-end developer with some backend experience. You are willing to mentor mid-level developers and build infrastructure and processes. You will help us make our brands’ web presence as high quality as our products. You are willing to become a Shopify expert quickly. You are also driven to create a dynamic and consumer-friendly experience.

Must-haves :

5+ years using CSS and JavaScript

A strong theoretical background in software engineering and object-oriented programming is required

Ability to build reusable code and libraries for future use and across multiple brands

Can ensure the technical feasibility of UI / UX designs

Has experience with common e-commerce skills (shopping cart, API integrations, credit card processing, etc.)

Can implement web & mobile solutions and best practices

Experience with React.js, Vue, or other JavaScript frameworks

Ability to build API-driven integrations with various platforms (CRM, ERP, and other major systems)

Experience integrating with external web services, like SOAP, REST, or Graph QL APIs is required

3+  years of experience using and helping to manage code repositories using Git

Nice-to-haves :

Proven experience building headless e-commerce websites

A strong understanding of best front-end development practices  in a shopify environment

Can build server-side applications with node(Node Express would be preferred)

Can mentor Programmers and Designers on back-end web functionality

Stay well-informed on Shopify platform trends and changes

SalesForce experience

Knowledge of web languages including APEX, JAVA, and Python
