RWJBarnabas Health , the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking an Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon for an opportunity in the northern region of NJ. Jersey City Medical Center is a state designated Level II Trauma Center, providing 24 / 7 trauma surgery for adults and children throughout Hudson County. The Orthopedic Institute at Jersey City Medical Center performs the full spectrum of orthopedic procedures including total joint replacements, trauma / reconstruction surgery, and sports medicine injuries. The Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon will practice within the department, assist with trainee education, and continue to grow the robust orthopedic department at Jersey City Medical Center.

Candidate Requirements :

• BC / BE in Orthopedic Surgery
• NJ licensed or eligible for licensure
• Interest in clinical research
• Prior teaching experience is preferred

Please note that current trainees can earn up to $24,000 with the fellowship stipend program if they choose to join RWJBH during the final year of fellowship!

The anticipated salary range for this position if hired to work is $600,000 to $930,000 per year.

The compensation offered to the candidate selected for the position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
