Creative Suite Classroom Assistant

In a classroom with the following resources : Makey-Makey Ozo-bot Scratch Photons Pro-create laser cutter laser printer virtual reality resources pod-casting station digital music capabilities etc : Teach or support engaging developmentally appropriate culturally competent and challenging lessons with research-based pedagogy / best practices; promote a culture of learning Support the development of interdisciplinary curriculum vertical alignment unit planning and pacing guides independently and in collaboration with community partnersAssess and report on student progress in accordance with school policies and practices Effectively manage classroom environment in accordance with school policies and culture Co-organize and supervise grade-level field trips and events May lead a weekly club or Genius Flex Block Engage in staff duties such as student lunch / recess passing periods and responsibility for community spacesUtilize quantitative and qualitative tools to assess impact within youth and community engagement programs including gathering data via surveys google forms etc.; share outcomes with the grants team and other OSS and become proficient in new technologiesFulfill duties remotely if possible when offsite work is required Actively participate in all professional development workshops grade level subject area and staff meetingsWork safely and exercise maximum responsibility for the prevention of accidents and the safe use of equipmentOther duties as assigned
