As a Security Officer - Financial Patrol in Shoreview, MN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide peace of mind to clients and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, respond to situations as needed, and deliver exceptional customer service while upholding our values of integrity, teamwork, and putting people first. What You'll Do :

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and promote a secure environment.
  • Observe and report any unusual activity, property damage, or maintenance needs to the appropriate personnel.
  • Assist visitors, employees, and / or customers by providing information and directions as requested.
  • Support emergency response efforts by following instructions from Allied Universal management and local authorities.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and client policies.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Must have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
