Job Summary :

The Radiologic Technologist scrub assistance is plus.

Shifts : M-F 8hrs

Radiologic Technologist / Special Procedures Tech Responsibilities include :

• Good to have scrub experience.
• Sets up sterile table, instruments and supplies according to procedure and physician preference card.
• Scrubs, gowns and gloves in accordance with AORN standards.
• Anticipates and assists surgeons according to prescribed standards.
• Cost conscious in utilization of supplies for procedures.
• Applies and maintains the aseptic technique in delivery of care to patients.
• Assists in application of dressings as needed.
• Decontaminates all equipment and instruments; cleans room per TCVCG policy / procedures.
• Maintains and operates all departmental equipment necessary for patient care (i.e. C- arm, ultrasound, various catheters); maintains par levels of equipment.

Skills and Experience :

New Grads are accepted with little work experience in an internship.

Minimum 2 years as an x-ray tech with Scrub assistance (preferred).

Maintains a professional appearance takes pride and ownership of work and works in a cooperative, team-oriented manner.

Possesses the physical ability and perceptive acuity (e.g. visual, hearing) to perform all direct and indirect care functions.

Certifications / Education :

ARRT certification is must.

Graduate of an accredited surgical tech program or radiography program, or equivalent knowledge gained by experience.

NJ State license is must.

BLS certification (preferred)
