Key Responsibilities :
- Operate and program CMM equipment to measure parts with precision and accuracy.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and analyze production components to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Support development, implementation, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure consistency and quality throughout the department.
- Lead and mentor the quality team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
- Maintain On-Time Delivery (OTD) by ensuring quality processes support production timelines.
- Collaborate with process engineering, production, and other departments to address quality-related challenges and improve processes.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for quality issues, as needed.
- Maintain detailed records of quality inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Ensure tools and measurement equipment are calibrated and in optimal condition.
- Identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality standards, efficiency, and departmental performance.
- Conduct training sessions for staff on CMM operation, quality standards, and adherence to SOPs to ensure consistent quality practices.
Qualifications :
CMM experience is a must, including programming, operation, and troubleshooting.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an eye for detail.Experience in quality systems, tools, and methodologies such as ISO standards, Six Sigma, or similar.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a leadership mindset.Ability to work collaboratively across departments to drive quality improvements.A degree in a related field is a plus but not required—relevant work experience will be highly valued.Preferred Skills :
