Position : RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel / Contract)

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

Monitor and assess patients' conditions during labor and delivery.

Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement care plans.

Participate in continuous professional development and training.

Assist in the management of labor and delivery emergencies.

Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Engage in performance measurement and goal setting.

Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

Evaluate and improve nursing practices based on patient outcomes.

Utilize data to assess and enhance patient care strategies.

Support a positive team environment and contribute to team goals.

Experience / Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state.

Commitment to continuous professional development and learning.

Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery nursing.

Strong knowledge of labor and delivery protocols and emergency procedures.

Proficient in implementing evidence-based practices in patient care.

Excellent communication skills for patient and team interactions.

Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, results-oriented environment.

Strong team player with accountability for individual performance.

Experience with electronic health records (EHR) for documentation.

Ability to analyze data to enhance patient care strategies.
