About the Opportunity A well-established digital commerce and technology solutions company is seeking a Backend PHP Developer to support a long-term modernization initiative. This role focuses on transforming a legacy PHP application into a modern, cloud-native, microservices-based platform hosted on AWS. This position is fully onsite in Austin, TX and requires consistent in-office collaboration. Candidates must already reside in Texas and be able to commute daily.

What Youll Be Doing Modernize a legacy PHP monolith into domain-driven microservicesDesign and build backend services using PHP (Symfony preferred) Develop and maintain RESTful, API-first integrations Deploy and support services using AWS (ECS, EKS, Lambda, API Gateway) Containerize applications using Docker and support orchestrationBuild and maintain CI / CD pipelines Collaborate with DevOps, Product, QA, and Analytics teamsParticipate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies and code reviews

What Were Looking For 3+ years of backend development experience with PHP Experience with microservices architecture and API-driven systemsStrong AWS cloud experienceFamiliarity with Docker, CI / CD, and Infrastructure-as-CodeStrong problem-solving and communication skills

$100,000 - $115,000 a year
