Databricks Developer

Job Description

This is a new role that would growing the development team tasked with the Extract and Load portions of the ELT process. This will focus on developing and maintaining new and existing data ELT pipelines and data source marts for internal use under general supervision.

• Participates in the full development life cycle including requirements analysis.
• Supports, maintains, and documents software functionality.
• Identifies and evaluates new technologies for implementation.
• Analyzes code for defects and to identify root causes of issues.
• Revises programs as needed.
• Consults with end user to prototype, refine, test, and debug programs to meet needs.
• Provides moderately complex database query skills to provide technical and business teams with requested data.
• Works with management, architects, and senior developers to design and propose solutions to complex data movement challenges that increase the service capabilities of our Enterprise Data Platform (EDP) and reduce overall technology spend, implementation efforts, and / or maintenance costs.
