ProHealth Partners is an established multi-specialty physician group and has been providing care to patients over the last 30 years. Our network includes over 250+ physicians in over 100+ clinics throughout the greater Long Beach, Los Angeles, Orange County, and Inland Empire areas.
We currently have an opening for a Full-Time Front Office Medical Assistant . Experience in Otolaryngology preferred.
Job Type : TEMP-TO-HIRE, Full-time
Pay : $21-23 / hr
Hours : Mon-Fri, 8-hour shifts
Responsibilities :
- Greet and check in patients; verify insurance and demographic information.
- Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments and follow-up visits.
- Answer incoming calls and respond to patient inquiries or route to appropriate staff.
- Collect co-pays and patient balances; process payments accurately.
- Prepare, update, and maintain patient charts and documentation in the EHR system.
- Coordinate referrals, prior authorizations, and medical records requests as needed.
- Monitor patient flow and communicate wait times with courtesy and professionalism.
- Support the clinical team by relaying messages and assisting with workflow needs.
- Perform daily administrative tasks such as scanning, filing, and maintaining front desk supply levels.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow HIPAA and clinic policy standards.
Qualifications and Skills :
2 years of front office experience in clinical setting, requiredBilingual, requiredOtolaryngology experience, preferred11.6 SG
